Installation and Commissioning

Mounting the wall bracket

1. Hang the wall bracket by means of hooks or screw it to a wall according to the hole pattern.

2. Screw the adsorber into the wall bracket. For this purpose, lightly oil the thread beforehand. For version WH-SL close the clamp around the adsorber.

Assembly of the Hose Sets

1. If necessary, shorten the hose to the desired length.
2. Screw in threaded connections.
    2.1 Screw in a connection in the wall bracket from below.
    2.2 Screw in the second connection in the system.
    2.3. Put hose on both sides of connections and tighten clamps.

Mounting the bracket on an IBC container

1. Hang the wall bracket on the IBC container using hooks.
2. Screw the adsorber into the IBC holder. For this purpose, lightly oil the thread beforehand.

1. If necessary, shorten the hose to the desired length.
2. Screw in the flexible connection to the IBC container.
    2.1. Screw in the second connection on the adsorber at the bottom.
    2.2. Put hose on both sides of connections and tighten clamps.

Maintenance

1. Release the clamp around the adsorber and unscrew the adsorber.
2. Loosen the hose from the threaded connections and unscrew the connections on both sides.
3. Check hose and connections for damage and contamination.
4. Mount everything again.

 


Risk and Hazard Analysis

1. Humid air flows into the system
Porous seals
Moist air can flow into the system at the porous points. The seals must be checked according to the maintenance schedule.

Hose is damaged
Damage to the hose can cause humid air to enter the system and thus disable the function of the adsorber.

Hose clamps not tightened
Moist air flows through the connection of hose and grommet.

2. Wall mount is damaged
Material resistance
When selecting the wall mount and hose, the ambient and operating conditions should be considered. An aggressive environment or liquid in the container can damage the assemblies.

Temperature range
The ambient and operating temperatures should not exceed or exceed the specified range, otherwise the modules may be damaged.

Improper handling
Incorrect or improper handling can damage the holders and hoses. It is important to pay attention to the recommended installation.

3. Overpressure or underpressure builds up in the system
Too high air flow
Due to a high air flow rate, overpressure or underpressure can build up in the system.

Hose contaminated
Dirt particles and deposits in the hose can clog it and build up an overpressure or underpressure.

Too long and narrow hose
With an air flow rate, the hose can generate an overpressure or underpressure due to its length and cross section. When choosing the hose is on the equipment. And to respect environmental conditions.

4. Thread of the Adsorber and Accessories is damaged
When mounting the adsorber as well as the valve part on the system, the threads must be slightly wetted with oil. Failure to lubricate the threads can lead to rubbing of the individual threads and is no reason for complaint.

 

 


Maintenance Plan

1. Check Seals for Wear

Check    The O-rings supplied with the wall mount must be checked for perfect condition. For this, the seals should be examined for brittleness.

Measures    If there are any damages, the seals should be replaced.

2. Check Hoses for damage

Check    The hoses must be checked for damage, especially cuts or swelling.

Measures    If the hoses are damaged, they must be replaced.

3. Check the Position of the Hoses

Check    The hoses must be checked for correct installation.

Measures    If the hoses have loosened, they must be re-attached.

4. Check the Position of the Wall Bracket

Check    It must be checked whether the wall bracket is stably fixed or suspended.

Measures    If the wall bracket has come loose, it must be re-attached.

5. Optical Control of the Assemblies

Check    The wall bracket and the hoses must be visually checked for damage. Damage can occur due to various environmental or operating conditions or improper handling.

Measures    If the modules are damaged, they must be replaced to ensure full functionality.

6. Replacing the Wearing Parts

Check    The wearing parts, in particular the hoses and the O-rings, must be checked for their condition.
Cycle    Biennial
Measures    Regardless of the result of the test, it is recommended to replace the wearing parts to ensure smooth operation.
